Dick Powers was a pilot with Eastern Airlines, flying during the Golden Age of airline travel. His career was a meteoric success, and he rose to a management position. Then the bottom fell out - Eastern went out of business.Dick's can-do attitude enabled him to make lemonade out of lemons, and he resurrected his airline career with FEDEX as a freight pilot. After a second successful career, he was forced to retire due to the airline pilot age limitation. He parlayed his extensive airline experience to a position as an auditor, conducting International Air Transport Association (IATA) Operational Safety Audits (IOSAs).Dick now travels the world, conducting audits of airlines, leading audit teams, and meeting with airline CEOs.
